JOB LOCATION

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR GOVT. OF ASSAM ASSISTANT TEACHER:
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed the following from a recognised university:
10+2 with 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
OR
10+2 with 50% and 4-Year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
OR
10+2 with 50% and 2-Year Diploma in Special Education
AND
TET
Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test to be conducted by the appropriate
Government in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE for the
purpose.
AGE LIMIT FOR
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2018): Minimum 18 years and Maximum 28 years.
SELECTION PROCESS
Selection Process: Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of Teacher Eligibility Test.
APPLICATION FEE
Application Fee:
General/UR/OBC candidates have to pay Rs. 200 and SC/ST candidates have
to pay Rs. 150 through Indian Postal Order in the name of Director of
Elementary Education, Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati-19.
